- This practice does not complete assessments or reports for external parties (e.g., for disability claims), governmental groups or agencies.
Do I need to have a diagnosis to be a client of Rockmanor Mental Health and Psychotherapy?
- No, you do not need to have a mental health diagnosis.
- However, your therapist may recommend this before you start therapy after your assessment, or in the course of psychotherapy if it is indicated.
- You may be asked to seek this on your own where you would find a treating professional who can confer a diagnosis/complete an assessment, or you may sometimes be provided a referral if you consent to this, and if a suitable provider is known to your therapist.
